Studies on the Antidiabetic Activities of Cordyceps militaris Extract in Diet-Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Sprague-Dawley Rats
Diet-STZ-induced diabetic rats were treated with or without 120 mg/kg metformin (DH) and Cordyceps militaris extracts at various doses for 3 weeks. The serum SOD activity (a) and serum GSH-Px level (b) were detected. Data are expressed as mean ± SD () and analyzed using one-way ANOVA followed by Dunn’s test. versus controls, and versus DM group. CT: control rats; DM: diabetic rats; AE: alcohol extract; WE: water extract; SOD: superoxide dismutase; GSH-Px: glutathione peroxidase.
