Self-assembly of peptide and microstructure of peptide scaffolds. (a) RLN peptide solution. (b) A self-supporting hydrogel was made by the mixture of RLN and RADA16, and self-assembly of peptide was enhanced by CaCl2 (0.1 mol/L) solution (c). The nanofibers were observed in RADA16 (d) and LN-NS (e). There was an increase of the diameter of nanofibers of LN-NS ( nm) compared with that of RADA16 ( nm).
