Alignment of two different precursors (hsa-miR-1-1 and hsa-miR-1-2) of miR-1 in human. hsa-miR-1-1 and hsa-miR-1-2 are located in two distinct chromosomal regions in human genome, −20q13.33 and 18q11.2. Both these precursors are processed into an identical mature form of miR-1. The respective pre-miR-1 sequences (hsa-miR-1-1 and hsa-miR-1-2) were listed. Each sequence is shown with blue characters indicating mature miR-1 nucleotides.
