Inclusion criteria.

Description
(1) MRI evidence of meniscal tear
(2) Orthopedic evaluation that determined that patient was a candidate for an arthroscopic meniscectomy
(3) Either male or female
(4) Under 60 years of age
(5) An unwillingness to proceed with arthroscopic resection of the meniscus
(6) The failure of conservative management
(7) Ongoing pain
