(a) Berberis amurensis: (a) stellatus (meet 4-, 5-, 6-, 7-, and 8-beam differences); (b–d) Schisandra chinensis: (b) bark, cuneiform; (c) bark, polyhedron smooth; and (d) leaves, parallelepiped extended rough; (e-f) Panax ginseng: (e) leaves, cuneiform; (f) root, irregular ruminate; (g) Bergenia pacifica: (g) leaves, parallelepiped smooth; and (h) Eleutherococcus senticosus: (h) leaves, irregular ruminate.
