Detection of the protein LprG in MAA wild type , MAAΔlprG , MAAΔlprG::lprG , and MAAΔlprG::lprG-p55 (4). Western blot was performed with anti-LprG sera (a) and anti-Hsp70 sera (b) as internal control. LprG was not detected in the MAAΔlprG protein fraction, while the complemented strains restored its expression.
