Netrins and their receptors. (a) Netrins show homology with laminin. Netrin-1 and netrin-3 are related to the γ chain of laminin, and β netrin, also known as netrin-4, is related to the laminin β chain. (b) Netrins bind to receptor members of the DCC family and to members of the UNC5 family. Their most important roles are given [12].
