(a) Tenascin-X levels were determined by ELISA assay following the manufacturer’s instructions. values < 0.05 were considered to be significant. (c) Bands of western blot were scanned and quantified by the Kodak 1D image analysis software. The quantification was normalized to protein levels determined by Ponceau S staining.
