Subtoxic Doses of Cadmium Modulate Inflammatory Properties of Murine RAW 264.7 Macrophages

Cadmium atoms per cell in RAW 264.7 macrophages. Cells were incubated for 2 h, 4 h or 20 h with 0.01 µM, 0.1 µM or 10 µM CdCl2, or without CdCl2 for control, each in the presence or absence of hk S.E. Afterwards cells were harvested, washed, mineralized and the number of cadmium atoms per cell was determined by ICP-MS.
