Effect of growth factors on DNA synthesis. Bovine AF (a) and NP (b) cells were cultured in collagen gels and collagen gels supplemented with CSA, respectively, and stimulated with PDGF (10 ng/mL), bFGF (5 ng/mL), and IGF-I (100 ng/mL) along with tritiated thymidine for 24 hours. Thymidine incorporation was assessed as described in Section 2. Values represent mean (±SEM) of three independent experiments.
