Bone-Healing Capacity of PCL/PLGA/Duck Beak Scaffold in Critical Bone Defects in a Rabbit Model

Changes in bone volume fraction (%) after implantation. The samples from the euthanized rabbits were imaged using a micro-CT at 4, 8, and 12 weeks after implantation. The scanned data were reconstructed using software. Bone volume fraction (%) of PCL/PLGA/TCP and PCL/PLGA/duck beak scaffold groups was significantly higher than those of control and PCL/PLGA scaffold groups. The values are the mean ± SD ().
