Lycium barbarum Polysaccharide Mediated the Antidiabetic and Antinephritic Effects in Diet-Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Sprague Dawley Rats via Regulation of NF-κB

Diet-STZ-induced diabetic rats were orally treated with 100 mg/kg of Met and LBPS at doses of 100, 250, and 500 mg/kg for four weeks. The effects on the serum levels of (a) IL-2, (b) IL-6, (c) TNF-α, (d) IFN-α, (e) MCP-1, and (f) ICAM-1 were analyzed via ELISA method. Data are expressed as mean ± SD () and analyzed by using a one-way ANOVA. and versus normal controls; versus diabetic model rats.
