Diet-STZ-induced diabetic rats were orally treated with 100 mg/kg of Met and LBPS at doses of 100, 250, and 500 mg/kg for four weeks. The effects on the serum levels of (a) IL-2, (b) IL-6, (c) TNF-α, (d) IFN-α, (e) MCP-1, and (f) ICAM-1 were analyzed via ELISA method.
