Figure 2: Overview of Parallel-SymD algorithm. Process 0 acts as a master node. If the rank ID of a process is not 0, then it will wait to receive the workload from process 0. After process 0 divides the problem and sends it to the rest of the processes, then each processor independently solves the subproblem and generates the results that are then sent back to the master node. Finally, the master node displays the results.
