The viability of trophoblastic cells in hypoxic conditions. TEV-1 cells were treated with 300 μM CoCl2 for 0, 12, 24, 48, or 72 h. Then, TEV-1 cell viability was determined by the MTT method. Data are presented as the mean ± SD of three independent experiments. The results showed that TEV-1 cell viability significantly decreased when cells were exposed to CoCl2, and the reduction was observed as early as 24 h after treatment. In addition, the reduction was time-dependent .
