Risk of disease () of the least risky homozygote (a/a) is related to the genetic penetrance parameter (γ) for each additional genotype under multiplicative, additive, recessive, and dominant models. For the multiplicative, additive, and dominant models γ is the relative risk of the heterozygote genotype compared to the homozygote genotype with the lowest risk; for the recessive model it is the relative risk of the most at risk homozygote compared to the least at risk homozygote.
