(a) A cylindrical syringe was cut to a height of 30 mm and used as a container to hold PMMA for measuring temperature profiles. The prepared cement mixture was added to the cavity of the syringe up to 20 mm in height. (b) Then, a thermocouple was inserted into the bone cement to a depth of 10 mm.
