Pneumococcal survival-time curves based on the number of viable CFU of pneumococcal strains: EF28 (serotype 23F), EF33 (nontypeable), H2 (serotype 11), 61 (nontypeable), and S. pneumoniae ATCC 49619 strains stored on TH-HYC agar, along test 2 (the number of viable CFU at 16 wk was 2+ for EF28 and 61 strains and 3+ for ATCC, EF33, and H2 strains).
