Impact of Elevated Circulating Histones on Systemic Inflammation after Radiofrequency Ablation in Lung Cancer Patients

Circulating histones were significantly elevated in lung cancer patients following RFA. Median serum histones in post-RFA patients within 48 h (35.92 μg/ml [25.42, 49.58]) were much higher as compared to these before RFA (6.01 μg/ml [3.02, 7.87], ). Variables were expressed as median (interquartile range).
