The effect of GL on LPS-induced HMGB1 and proinflammatory cytokine release in vitro. Rat NR8383 alveolar macrophages were stimulated by LPS and treated with or without increasing concentrations of GL. The release of HMGB1 (a), TNF-α (b), IL-1β (c), and IL-6 (d) was determined by ELISA. Data are presented as means ± SEM. compared with LPS-treated control.
