The effect of GL on HMGB1-induced mRNA expression of proinflammatory cytokines. Rat NR8383 alveolar macrophages were stimulated by HMGB1 and treated with or without increasing concentrations of GL for 12 h. The mRNA levels of HMGB1 (a), TNF-α (b), IL-1β (c), and IL-6 (d) were determined by real-time PCR. compared with LPS-treated control.
