Identification of IL-28B Genotype Modification in Hepatocytes after Living Donor Liver Transplantation by Laser Capture Microdissection and Pyrosequencing Analysis

Figure 4

(a) Pyrosequencing analysis of the IL-28B rs8099917 single-nucleotide polymorphism in liver graft-isolated hepatocytes revealed the GT genotype, with a 14% G frequency and 86% T frequency. The analysis was performed using the PyroMark Q24 System (Qiagen) with Assay Design Software, version 2.0
(b) Pyrosequencing analysis of the IL-28B SNP rs8099917 in serum from a recipient on preoperative day 0 (POD0) before living donor liver transplantation revealed the TT genotype, with a G frequency of only 3% and a T frequency of almost 97%
