Effect of Lead on Human Middle Ear Epithelial Cells

Effect of amniotic membrane extract (AME) and chorionic membrane extract (CME) on cell viability of human middle ear epithelial cells (HMEECs) following exposure to lead for 24 h: administration of 100 and 200 μg/mL AME or CME significantly increased cell viability of HMEECs exposed to 600 μg/mL lead(II) acetate trihydrate. Error bars indicate the standard error of the mean (SEM).
