The case numbers of CC, CT, and TT genotypes were 76, 42, and 8 in the mild group with the proportions of 60.32%, 33.33%, and 6.35%, respectively, while those in the moderate and severe group were 54, 60, and 23 with the proportions of 39.42%, 43.80%, and 16.79%, and the frequency distributions between two groups were significantly different (X² = 13.722, P = 0.001).
