Technetium-99 Conjugated with Methylene Diphosphonate Ameliorates Glucocorticoid Induced Osteoporosis by Inhibiting Osteoclastogenesis

<div><b>Bone mechanical properties of femora midshaft from rats were evaluated. </b><sup>99</sup>Tc-MDP increased S (stiffness), Ct.Th (cortical thickness), and CSMI (cross-sectional moment of inertia) at the femoral midshaft of rats. However, <sup>99</sup>Tc-MDP showed no effects on Fu (ultimate force).
