Liam’s significant events are triggered by electrodermal reactions; Sophie’s by changes in vasodilatory and vasoconstriction responses in skin temperature. Giselle’s significant events are triggered by a combination of both skin temperature and heart rate responses. The specific parameters for each individual’s algorithm are presented in Supplementary Data, Table 1. The unique patterns of responsiveness illustrate the need to tailor the event detection algorithm for caregivers.
