Determination of IC₅₀ for curcumin, guaiacol, isoeugenol, pterostilbene, resveratrol, and zingerone on MAO-A activity. MAO-A activity was measured by the formation of 4-hydroxyquinoline with inhibitors in a broad range of concentrations (at least 10⁴-fold) for 15 min. The Y-axis is expressed as fraction of the control (in absence of inhibitor) and all points on the curves are expressed as means ± SD.
