EGCG, used as a positive control in the elastase inhibition assay, showed an IC₅₀ value of 1.2 mg/mL, whereas apigenin, used as a positive control in the hyaluonidase inhibition assay, showed an IC₅₀ value of 3.5 mg/mL.
