Protective Effects of Crocetin against Radiation-Induced Injury in Intestinal Epithelial Cells
Crocetin improved the survival of irradiated IEC-6 cells in a dose-dependent manner (0.1 μM, 1 μM, and 10 μM). IEC-6 cells were treated with different doses of crocetin (0.1 μM, 1 μM, 10 μM, and 100 μM) after exposure of 10 Gy radiation. (a) Cell viability was detected by CCK-8 from day 1 to day 7 after radiation. (b) Cell viability was detected by CCK-8 on day 3 after radiation. Data represent of three independent experiments. represents as compared to the IR group. IR group: irradiation group.
