Protective Effects of Crocetin against Radiation-Induced Injury in Intestinal Epithelial Cells

<div>Crocetin improved the survival of irradiated IEC-6 cells in a dose-dependent manner (0.1 <i>μ</i>M, 1 <i>μ</i>M, and 10 <i>μ</i>M). IEC-6 cells were treated with different doses of crocetin (0.1 <i>μ</i>M, 1 <i>μ</i>M, 10 <i>μ</i>M, and 100 <i>μ</i>M) after exposure of 10 Gy radiation. (a) Cell viability was detected by CCK-8 from day 1 to day 7 after radiation. (b) Cell viability was detected by CCK-8 on day 3 after radiation.
