Gender-Related and Hemispheric Effects in Cortical Thickness-Based Hemispheric Brain Morphological Network

Table 1

Asymmetry of the global integrated measures of the hemispheric network within/between the gender groups. A one-sample -test was performed to investigate the asymmetries of the global integrated measures within gender. The positive values in females and males indicate leftward asymmetry, and the negative values in females and males indicate rightward asymmetry. A two-sample -test was performed to investigate the gender difference in the asymmetries of the global integrated measures between genders. The greater positive and negative values indicate greater leftward or rightward asymmetry in one group than in the other. The significance level for all analyses is . , , , and denote the clustering coefficient, characteristic path length, small-worldness, global efficiency, and local efficiency, respectively. The significance () is indicated by the bold text and indicator ().
