The cooperative effect of rapamycin and minocycline inhibited cell proliferation in LPS-stimulated THP-1cells. (a) THP-1 cells were stimulated by LPS with concentration from 0.1 to 10 μg/ml for the indicated time. (b) THP-1 cells were treated with minocycline with the concentration from 0.5 to 50 μg/ml for the indicated time. (c) THP-1 cells were treated with 1 μg/ml LPS and 50 μg/ml minocycline for the indicated time. (d) THP-1 cells were preincubated with 5 μM rapamycin for 1 h, followed with 1 μg/ml LPS and 50 μg/ml minocycline for the indicated time. Cell proliferation was assessed by WST-1 assay and expressed as the percentage of viability compared to control. Data were represented as the (, , ).
