Immunology and Cell Biology of Parasitic Diseases

Description

Infections caused by parasitic pathogens are a global health problem. The goal of this special issue is to invite contributions from the leading scientists in the field of parasitology with particular emphasis on immunology, pathology, cell biology, and drug/vaccine development.

We invite authors to present original research articles as well as review articles that will focus on different parasitic diseases of clinical and veterinary importance. Specifically, the topics to be considered include, but are not limited to:

  • Helminths (filariasis, cysticercosis, schistosomiasis, and trichinellosis)
  • Protozoan (giardiosis, amebiasis, and malaria)
  • Toxoplasmosis
  • Leishmaniasis
  • Trypanosomiasis

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/jbb/guidelines/.
