Due to the lack of normality of the distribution, the median (Me) and the interquartile range (IR) were given, and the Kruskal-Wallis test was used to assess the differences in distributions between PCSK9 tertiles; in the remaining cases, the mean () and standard deviation (sd) were given, and the ANOVA analysis of variance was used to evaluate the differences in the mean values between PCSK9 tertiles. &Due to the lack of homogeneity of the TC variance between PCSK9 tertiles, Me and IR were given for the description of TC, and the Kruskal-Wallis test was used to evaluate the differences between the distributions.
