Probability that a group of spikes (i.e., an -spike coincidence) is cut by a bin boundary. The parameter is the scatter in the group (i.e., the time span or maximum distance that can exist between any two spikes in the group) and is the bin width (i.e., time span within which we characterize synchrony). Probabilities are on the vertical axis.
