<div>Seasonal variation in the occurrence of dengue cases and deaths by month, 2000–2017, shows less cases in the pre-monsoon season (January–April), and maximum cases and deaths were reported in the monsoon season (May–August) and in the post-monsoon period (September–December). Figure 3 also shows the peak season of dengue in Bangladesh is from July to October.</div>
