Kinetic Modelling of Infection Tracers [18F]FDG, [68Ga]Ga-Citrate, [11C]Methionine, and [11C]Donepezil in a Porcine Osteomyelitis Model

Representative sample plasma activity curves for [11C]methionine (decay-corrected, from pig number 1). The scale of the vertical axis has been chosen to emphasize the curve tails, at the cost of truncating the bolus peak (maximum value ~600 kBq/mL). Uncorrected input function is the total plasma activity concentration (grey curve). Metabolite-corrected input function (red curve) originates as the product of the total plasma activity curve and the fraction curve (Figure 3). Also shown is the metabolite activity concentration (blue curve), that is, the difference between the other two curves. Similar curves were seen for [11C]donepezil (not shown).
