The cCN_NMeGRC peptide is more stable than cCNGRC. For the cCN_NMeGRC peptide, there was no change in molecular weight after a 16-hour incubation at 37°C in 0.1 M ammonium bicarbonate buffer, pH 8.5, whereas cCNGRC showed a molecular weight gain of 1 Da, indicating that the peptide underwent deamidation.
