Comparative Evaluation of 68Ga-Citrate PET/CT and 18F-FDG PET/CT in the Diagnosis of Type II Collagen-Induced Arthritis in Rats

On the 23rd day, the AI score of one rat’s left paw was 2 and that of its right paw was 0. On PET/CT images, 68Ga-citrate showed high uptake in the left ankle joint (SUVmax, 2.2) but low uptake in the right ankle joint (SUVmax, 1). On 18F-FDG images, the left paw showed low uptake of the imaging agent (SUVmax, 1.4), and the right ankle joint also showed low uptake (SUVmax, 0.96).
