Staining procedure for mouse limbs. Hindlimbs were stained for 3 days: at day 0 with 2 ∗ 0.15% vs. 1 ∗ 0.3% (I) and at day 21 (II) and day 56 (III) with 2 ∗ 0.3% vs. 1 ∗ 0.6%; forelimbs were stained for 4 days with 0.3% at day 0 vs. day 14 (I) and for 18 days with 0.6% at day 20 vs. day 38 (II); for all groups.
