 (i) Calculate

    For 𝑛=1∶𝑁

     ∗set the matrix 𝑈^(𝑛) to consist of the

     𝐽_𝑛 eigenvectors of the matrix 𝜙^(𝑛)

     corresponding to the largest 𝐽_𝑛 eigenvalues.
