Illustration of the process of computing structure descriptor set. The original image is divided into many patches, and the centre and neighborhood are selected in each patch. The PDF is generated by the statistical histogram of the patch. All the grayscale probabilities of single patch are substituted into the measure function M to obtain uncertainty values, namely, descriptor value. Finally, the descriptor value is stored in the corresponding location to create descriptor set [8].
