According to ICH (International Conference on Harmonization) Q2 (R1), linearity should be evaluated by visual inspection of a plot of signals as a function of analyte concentration or content and if found linear, test results should be evaluated by appropriate statistical methods. In this proposed method the linear regression equation for PYH was found y = 6980322x + 56058 (R2 = 0.999) as well as for MYH was found y = 5330928x + 2255 (R2 = 1.000) by plotting peak area (y) versus the concentration (x). The results show that an excellent correlation exists between peak areas and concentration of drugs.
