In this infiltrate, immunohistochemistry is positive for CD3 (b) and in situ hybridization is positive for Epstein–Barr virus (c). Bone marrow biopsy shows clusters of atypical lymphocytes (d) and histiocytes with hemophagocytosis (e). Immunohistochemical staining for CD3 is positive (f).
