Polymyxin B-Induced Skin Hyperpigmentation

A 68-year-old man received polymyxin B therapy for a Klebsiella pneumoniae blood infection. With treatment, the patient had progressive hyperpigmentation (a) that significantly faded after the polymyxin B was withdrawn (b).
