Retrograde Intramedullary Nail Fixation for Derotational Femoral Osteotomy for Recurrent Femoropatellar Instability

All CT measurements are shown. Femoral torsion was measured according to the method described by Jarrett et al. [12]. A femoral torsion of 32° was found in the left side, 17° higher than the expected value, so according to Kaiser et al. [5], a MPFL reconstruction alone is not enough to restore patellofemoral kinematics. The trochlea in both knees was type B according to the Dejour classification [13].
