Ιnfiltration with multiple friable fragments of dark-coloured subcutaneous tissue (a material similar to cuttlefish ink in colour) of the whole mastoid cavity, which had been submitted to “automated trephination.” Drilling of the mastoid with debridement and removal of the corroded bone fragments.</div>
