Autoinflammatory Reaction in Dogs Treated for Cancer via G6PD Inhibition

Inflammation in and about the eye in a Doberman treated with G6PD inhibition for a cytologically verified soft tissue sarcoma in her right ischium. Inflammation such as this is a feature of the human autosomal recessive disease mevalonate kinase deficiency, caused by NALP3 inflammasome-mediated IL1β secretion [8].
