Impact of lifestyle intervention program on HDL-mediated eNOS phosphorylation. Ten months of intervention increases HDL-mediated eNOS-Ser1177 phosphorylation in the intervention group when analyzed over time (a) or compared to usual care group (UC) (b). No change in HDL-mediated eNOS-Ser1177 phosphorylation occurs in UC (c). Phosphorylation of the eNOS-Thr495 residue was not affected by the intervention program when compared to UC (d).
