Proposed mechanism of the vasorelaxation effect of GLP-1 on the rat coronary artery. GLP-1 increases the KATP current in RCASMCs, which may be one of the causes of the vasodilation effect of GLP-1 on the rat coronary artery, and its vasodilation effect is endothelium-dependent.
