miR-149 Alleviates Ox-LDL-Induced Endothelial Cell Injury by Promoting Autophagy through Akt/mTOR Pathway

<div>miR-149 mimics enhance autophagy through inhibiting the Akt/mTOR pathway. (a) Western blot was performed to determine Akt and mTOR proteins. Compared to HUVECs with ox-LDL (100 <i>μ</i>g/mL), expressions of Akt (b), p-Akt (c), mTOR (d), and p-mTOR (e) were significantly reduced by miR-149 mimics treatment. Calculation of all these proteins was normalized to <i>β</i>-actin.
