Cardiac Arrhythmias: Update on Mechanisms and Clinical Managements

Description

The special issue is intended to present and discuss the research progress on cardiac arrhythmias including update on mechanisms and clinical managements.

We sincerely invite investigators to contribute original research articles as well as review articles describing the most recent advances in this field.

We solicit papers for this special issue to be published in Cardiology Research and Practice. Accepted articles will be available on PubMed Central and indexed in PubMed at the time of publication.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Current state and future aspects of ECG-based arrhythmia risk stratification for sudden cardiac death
  • Progress in atrial fibrillation ablation
  • Treatment of VT and VPBs: which patients and which indications?
  • Controversial issues in ICD/CRT therapy
  • Denervation and innervation in arrhythmias
  • Ablation in patients with structural heart disease
  • New insight into J wave syndrome
  • Heart failure and atrial fibrillation
  • Wireless pacing: where we are?
  • Advances in biological pacemaker
  • Septal pacing versus minimal ventricular pacing in apex: which one is better?
  • Is atrial septal pacing helpful?
  • Multiple sites pacing and His bundle pacing in bradycardia
  • Prognosis in patients with LBBB and/or RBBB
  • Complications of device implantation
